APU Secures USD 150,000 Grant

APU in collaboration with American Geosciences Institute (AGI) secured a USD 150,000 Seed Grant under the Deep-Time Digital Eartch (DDE) Big Science Programme. The grant supports an internation collaboration with the Suzhou DDE Research Center, the DDE Secretariat and the AGI to develop immersive digital technologies that transform how learners engage with Earth systems.

Fostering SDG-Focused Education with Fulbright Specialist

Through the Digital Learning Hub, APU welcomed Dr. Ed Robeck of the American Geosciences Institue under the the Fulbright Specialist Programme to support the SDGiC (Sustainable Development Goals in Curriculum) initiative. The collaboration strengthened faculty capacity to embed sustainability principles into curriculum design, reinforcing APU;s commitment to research informed, SDG-aligned teaching and global academic partnership.

ASEAN Stakeholder Summit for Gen AI in Education 2024

APU hosted the first ASEAN Stakeholder Summit for Generative AI in Education, attracting over 200 policymakers, educators and industry leaders from ASEAN and beyound to explore how Gen AI can enhance personalised learning, engagement and equitable access in education.
